The adolescent years can include times of emotional and mental turmoil. Sometimes a teen needs help restoring his or her ability to cope. Our inpatient mental health hospital program provides a safe, structured and calming environment where your teen receives 24-hour care and treatment from a team of mental health experts.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency or crisis, call 911. If you want to learn more about hospitalization or other mental health services and aren’t experiencing a crisis or emergency, a good next step is talking with your child’s primary care or mental health provider.

Overview

Our mental health inpatient program is for adolescents ages 12 to 18 who are experiencing complex behavioral health issues or a sudden mental health crisis. An out-of-home stay in our facility can include crisis stabilization, assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning.

We will design a treatment plan that is unique to your teen’s particular condition and needs. Our goal is to return your child to positive mental health and wellbeing—and prepare him or her for a successful transition to outpatient care, and home.

What to expect from the program

We will thoroughly assess and evaluate your teen’s condition, stabilize as needed, and provide focused treatment. Time spent in the hospital is meant to be short, so a plan will be developed for continued care outside of the hospital.

The program may include:

Conditions treated

Mental health conditions can be complex and affect your child’s thinking, feelings, mood, ability to relate to others, and their everyday life. Some of the medical conditions we treat in the hospital include:
